I am always ready to learn, but I do not always like being taught.
- Winston Churchill

Ain't this the truth?  It's cool when I'm sitting around and you
and I are learning something new, but what about when I don't want to
sit around and listen to you or anyone else?  Last night at Dr
Angelou's, one of the ladies I went with had her "Boards and Wards" so
she quizzed us and yup, there was quite a bit that I didn't know and
you know I hate that?  But Hallelujah, I was able to take it as a
part of my studying and not part of the "i'm stupid and let's not talk
about medical matters that I haven't re-studied yet".

In retrospect life can seem so much easier hunh?  When I think
about surgery I remember how horrible it was but I'm not there anymore
suffering so I can say with confidence, yup, that was horrible but it
made me stronger in how I present patients.  It was so bad that no
other rotation could ever be that horrible again!  So I learned a
lot however while I was being taught, I was miserable!  Warrior
Princess can attest to that one! LOL.
