Business Sense

Tonight I went to a Dean sponsored Medical Student Night on the Town at
the Heinz Historical Center downtown. It was quite nice. I took my good
friend who is NOT a medical student, but an opera singer, as my guest.
At the drink tables, we ran into two 3rd year med students who used to
frequent a local restaurant. I know the owners of that restaurant and
knew that they were going to close down the place but unfortunately,
they didn’t have the foresight to inform their customers that they were
going to leave. So the two students were just amazed and wondered “What
the….?” when they saw not a restaurant serving biryani and tikka
masala, but Philippino fare!

How sad! To leave your customers without so much as a “Thank you,
goodbye and come to our other restaurant”? I can imagine many people
must be upset that they didn’t even let them know! It doesn’t leave a
good impression, that’s for sure.
