NRMP: Match Results: Congratulations, you have matched!
Oh my! I don’t know what to do with myself. I really don’t.
(So a few hours later)
I slept a bit. All I can say is HALLELUJAH! The LORD giveth and the LORD taketh. Blessed be the name of the LORD! (Selah)
I just went to Bible Gateway to look up Psalm 121 for inclusion in this entry and this is what I first see:
“[More Than Conquerors ] And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
Why is this important? It’s confirmatory. And God is not the author of confusion. The passage that Pastor has been focusing on for the past few weeks has been from Romans 8:28-30ish. And repeatedly, God is reminding me of Who He Is. Of His constancy in the midst of my confusion. Of His comfort in the midst of my pain. Of His ultimate plan for me that even when I don’t get, is revealed through the light of His Love for me.
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
